These applicators are prefilled with wax in our manufacturing plant located in Neenah, Wisconsin! Each applicator in our kit is for single use, prefilled with the optimal amount of wax, so when they arrive at your door, they are ready to use, and its simple, just “Inject-Let Set-Pull”! Hot wax can be runny, stringy and messy however, Vibrissae was designed as a completely “closed system”, meaning warm wax goes from the prefilled applicator directly into your nostril, so wax never sees the light of day! Well…. At least until you pull! Our patent pending design prevents warm sticky wax from leaking from your nostril onto your facial hair, thus avoiding the need to cover or protect your facial hair when using Vibrissae. A known problem associated with nose waxing is severe burns and blisters caused by overheating wax. However, the process outlined in our instructions to melt the wax in our applicators takes the laws of thermodynamics and heat transfer rate to account! When you follow the heating instructions closely, expect the wax to be warm but tolerable, and most of all the wax will be at a safe temperature! Lastly, we all hate that irritating tickle caused by those nose hairs that have gone rogue! But how much wax do I use and how deep should I go?
